I saw the link to your site while on the WW 200+ message board today. I came to your site to hear your song F.I.D.O. - didn't find that song anywhere, but just had to write and tell you your other songs are absolutely beautiful. "Beautiful Sadness" has touched my heart today as my husband lost a dear friend to suicide on April 13, 2008. Last June he lost his older brother and his mother within 2 weeks of each other. Needless to say it's been a time of sadness. God has been faithful to carry us through, and today....finding your song, "Beautiful Sadness" has been a gift from Him to bring further healing in our hearts. God bless you!

Kristie, watching your musical talent grow through the years has been wonderful to see. I loved the big band sound and I must admit, I was a little apprehensive about you changing the genre of your music. But after hearing these demos, this feels like a perfect fit for you. I'm sure your family feels the same way. But keep in mind that you could still do a "big band sound" with an inspirational theme. You can praise His name with all types of music if the message comes through.

to have a song I sang in Church this past summer, that your mother told me she thought would be a great song for you to record)

I love the two songs. I must admit I didn't really like your other CD, not that your singing wasn't good, just didn't care for that type of sound, but I really love these songs, they are a blessing to hear. All I can say is........WOW! What an enjoyable night last evening. Donna & I thoroughly enjoyed the entire show. Of course, you (Kristie) know how partial I am toward trombone players. I wish you nothing but success and hope you'll all come back again sometime!
As a side note... believe it or not, while going through the meal line, Dr. McMulland and I chatting about various "old" classics, and during the conversation, I mentioned one of my all-time favorites, Tommy Dorsey's "I'm Getting Sentimental Over YOu." So, you can imagine my surprise and delight with Roy's "send off!"

Kristie I saw your article in the DDD. I am also the president of SEMO Little Theater. Each year we have an Encore presentation in which we try to get as many past Kennett graduates to perform.
