Liz and I wrote this song shortly after watching "The Secret" DVD. We loved the overall message, though I did have some reservations about it's focus on material things. Nonetheless, we wanted to write a song that was all about positive thinking and getting everything you really want out of life. I have found, in my life, that what I really want are the simple things like a great conversation, a good game of cards or a healthy and delicious home-cooked meal. Since my happiness isn't attached to "stuff", I'm usually quite content. What a blessing that is! Life is not only about having what you want, but also about wanting the beautiful things that you already have.
